Reloaded : Connect things to Azure IoT HUB with Arduino and Visual Studio Code

Detalles : Hackters-BCN – Meetup

Come with us to learn about an Arduino compatible board with rich peripherals that uses Visual Studio Code for development.
Our goal is to demonstrate the ease of developing IoT apps by leveraging the power of the cloud.
Learn about, Mbed, Arduino, C++ and Azure, debugging in live from Visual Studio Code!

What can I do with it?
Basically, all the cool stuff you can do with an Arduino can be done with the DevKit. And since it has many popular sensors and actuators on it, you no longer need to spend time wiring and soldering them together. And if you really want to use extra sensors such as camera, GPS or etc., there is an edge connector on the board that is compatible with BBC Micro:bit accessories. Extensibility is no problem.
To start developing, deep drive into the next DevKit workshop, to get started and learn how prepare the development environment.

We are fully aware of the role samples play in helping developers quickly build working demos and learn key concepts. That’s why we are establishing several projects to soft start. Every project is a small IoT application that uses multiple sensors and cloud services. With a step-by-step walkthrough, a developer can easily pick up and finish a project in minutes. Our first project «Shake, shake» uses Azure IoT Hub and Azure Functions to retrieve a random tweet and display it on the DevKit screen.

NEXT BOT!

+Info : Hackters-BCN Meetup

— For English People — 🙂

If you are a parent means that you have children and «if so,» we need that you come TOGETHER to build a Sumo BOT and solve one of the most serious problems in our organization:

– Have young engineers, but engineers that to be fun.

Please do not forget that complete this task is very important for all BCN Hacksters.

Connect things to Azure IoT HUB with Arduino and Visual Studio Code

HACKSTER-BCN : OCTOBER WALABOT WORKSHOP

HACKSTER-BCN : OCTOBER WALABOT WORKSHOP

GAPAND 2017 – Hackster’s Workshops and Hands on Lab

Geek-a-palooza Andorra 2017

Date : Saturday, Jul 1, 2017
Workshop : BLE
Starts : 3:00 PM
Ends : 5:00 PM
Location : 7, Plaça de la Germandat, Sant Julià de Lòria , Andorra, Andorra

We will bring a lot of electronic gadgets to be able to experiment together with them. In less than half an hour we will be able to mount an Intel Curie bluetooth low energy board with a relay shield, and then speak through our phone to start or stop the lights.

In this relay Voice controller, we learn:

a. The chrome web Bluetooth api.
b. How use your browser to have speech recognition
c. And open your light’s simply saying ‘one!’

Also, we can do several Bluetooth experiments using different methods to manage any BLE and tools, like nRFtools and our BLE BOT 9000, also we learn how fast an easy can be develop a windows universal app to link with our relay’s board to start and stop our things from our windows 10.

To finish if the time is not gone we will share with our “Abra Cadabra” with no doubt the best one wizard show of the world.

Aburrido? …
